With thanks to Barri Ghai of the ghostfinder.paranormal society for this find..
This, if real, is one of those videos that could go down in the history books..
But, if it is faked, it’s rather clever and I hope those responsible will come forwards for their five minutes of fame.
Otherwise, has anyone checked with the local law enforcemet office as to wether they got called to this location to investigate the events? Could do with some extra research on this..
From the source..
Now, I have no idea if this is a set up, or CGI, or actually legitimate, but I can tell you that it’s super creepy. Watch and listen closely as “staff security” in a Wingate Hotel checks on a room where reported screams are coming from.
Here’s the info as allegedly gleaned from the hotel manager:
This video was submitted to us by the hotel security manager who was standing watch on September 14, 2003 at a WINGATE HOTEL in Illinois. His voice can be heard in the background of the recording.
According to him, people staying at the hotel began calling in noise complaints to the front desk with reports of loud screaming coming from the 2nd floor–particularly room #209. There is no known history to the room according to our investigation. However, upon further review, we found that over the years, multiple complaints of “strange noises” were reported to be coming from the room. This is the only known recording of it.
Note: Pay close attention as John walks into the room.
No matter what you believe, that was fareeky! Of course there are plenty of reasons to be skeptical and it seems the submitter takes offense to those who doubt the veracity of the incident.
Note to comments:
It’s funny how people think this video is edited/fake. The audio is a mix down between the security camera audio and a separate recording from inside the office (which is specifically there to record in case of robbery to the hotel). People will always come to there own conclusions why a video is fake (like cameras pointed at the door). What they don’t realized is that there are about 80 cameras in the hallways around the hotel, all pointing at doors and hallways.
Some very good points are made here,
“There are a few minor problems/oddities that are standing out to me. 1) Let’s start small. The title of the video is weird. The full title has “Scary ghost videos 2013” in it, yet the video was uploaded in 2012 and shot in 2003. This is usually a tactic to get your video noticed/seen by more people, and it’s usually a tactic done with fake videos. 2) When John enters the room, why doesn’t he turn the lights on? The power clearly works, so why not turn the lights on instead of using your flashlight? What, is the ghost preventing the power from coming on? 3) The ghost itself. Admittedly, the ghost does look semi-real, but it just looks kind of…stiff? Almost like it’s an effect. It kind of just glides across the field of view without really moving that much. So with all that combined, I have to say that this video is fake IMO. But what do you think? Was a ghost actually captured on camera or is this just an elaborate hoax?”
So what do you think? Fake or Fact?
