This is a stunning bit of video. A tribe meets white man for the very first time.
The process of meeting and greeting appears to have taken a lot longer than the length of ths video but to see the expresions and body language is incredible.
The first man compares his clothing to the white mans and is amazed at the style of the white mans shorts.
With slow, cautious movements towards each other first contact is made with simple finger touching that brings an immediate withdrawl of the hand until confidence grows.
The moment when a mirror is introduced really is a classic as it seems the man is trying to work out how another man can be seen in the glass and he even covers it with a leaf.
The first meal of what looks like rice and possibly a spice of some kind leaves the men tucking in heartily… eventually!
