Mysterious Chinese Fossils May Be New Human Species

So, these skulls were found, but they’re not quite the usual structure we are normally used to finding. It would appear that they may be a new species (albeit dead and long gone) the fossils are only between 11,500 and 14,500 years old.

Here is one of the skulls

What has grabbed my attention to this are the flared cheek bones. They are rather distinct and very obvious. The cranium also appears to have a slightly different shape to that of a modern human.

So, if this ‘new species’ was here approx 15,000 years ago, they had to have been around for a lot longer than that in order to have developed such differences in ttheri structure. And this is where my book comes in with one of its most stunning images found in the cave art of Chauvet.

In my book, we discover how half a face hidden in the art can be mirrored on the direct vertical and becomes a complete face.. What we need to make note of here is the design of this face. It’s flared cheeks, the general shape of its face and how it resembles a human yet, clearly, may not be. It is humanoid.

We have to ask ourselves what would this fossilised skull have looked like ‘in the flesh’ 30,000 years ago, or more?

Could it possibly have been this guy from the cave art? All other proportions, such as nasal cavity, seem to be in place and to scale yet there are definite differences that need attention.

There is an artists impression of the fosil skull and we can begin to see how it could become related to the cave face, but we forget one thing, we are using ourselves as models for this fosil skull.. The outer skin layer of this ‘new species’ may not be the same as ours. It could have had a more scaly skin or a leathery appearance to it that we can only guess upon.

Basically, we’re assuming this species looked the same as us, whereas the reality may be more like the cave face. Even the depiction from that cave art could be slightly off due to the artists impression of what he understood.

As for artistic impression goes, let’s consider one other image that has made an impact on the face from the cave. It was  created by Leonardo da Vinci and, it too, was only created ‘in half’ So you had to mirror the image to get the full picture.

Here is that image

Rather stunning comparison on all counts, I feel. Therefore, were these people of terrestrial origin, who were they and what happened to them or are they the descendants of the “Gods” that once visited us here and are believed to have interbred with us? Are they the missing link to our ancient past and our skills at building things such as the pyramids and Puma Punku? The mystery of it all deepens, yet I feel we may be getting closer to getting a better picture of our true roots and our past.

For more on this, there is a link below after this section taken from the report.

Mysterious fossils of what may be a previously unknown type of human have been uncovered in caves in China, ones that possess a highly unusual mix of bygone and modern human features, scientists reveal.

Surprisingly, the fossils are only between 11,500 and 14,500 years old. That means they would have shared the landscape with modern humans when China’s earliest farmers were first appearing.

“These new fossils might be of a previously unknown species, one that survived until the very end of the ice age around 11,000 years ago,” said researcher Darren Curnoe, a palaeoanthropologist at the University of New South Wales in Australia.

“Alternatively, they might represent a very early and previously unknown migration of modern humans out of Africa, a population who may not have contributed genetically to living people,” Curnoe added.

At least three fossil specimens were uncovered in 1989 by miners quarrying limestone at Maludong or Red Deer Cave near the city of Mengzi in southwest China. They remained unstudied until 2008. The scientists are calling them the “Red Deer Cave People,” because they cooked extinct red deer in their namesake cave. [Photos of the Red Deer Cave People]”
